UK Shopify freelancers typically charge £400–£800/day, or £3,000–£15,000 for a fixed project. I work fixed-price: £2,800 for a launch store on a customised Dawn theme, £4,500–£8,000 for a custom Liquid theme, £8,000–£20,000 for Shopify Plus builds and complex migrations.
Do you develop custom Liquid themes from scratch?+
Yes — I build custom Liquid themes on top of Dawn (Shopify's Online Store 2.0 reference theme) or from scratch when brand requirements demand it. All themes are section-based so your team can rearrange content in the theme editor without touching code.
Can you migrate my store from WooCommerce, Squarespace, or Wix?+
Yes — migrations are about 40% of my Shopify work. I handle product data, customer accounts, order history where possible, 301 redirects to preserve SEO ranking, payment gateway setup, tax config, and a parallel launch so you don't lose sales during the switch.
Do you work on Shopify Plus?+
Yes — Shopify Plus builds including Checkout Extensibility (the new checkout system replacing checkout.liquid), Shopify Functions, B2B, and multi-store expansion. Plus builds are quoted individually and typically £10,000+.
Can you build custom Shopify apps?+
Yes — private and public custom apps built with Remix, Shopify's official app framework. Common use cases: internal admin tools, custom product configurators, integrations with legacy ERPs and CRMs, and app-driven B2B portals.

Yes — every project includes 30 days of free tweaks and bug fixes. After that I offer monthly care plans (£150–£300/month depending on scope) or hourly retainer for ongoing dev work. No lock-in.
